September Days~

Autumn gave a party, the Leaves by hundreds came ~The Chestnuts, Oaks, & Maples ~Their costumes all aflame. Miss Weather led the Dancing, Professor Wind the Band, the Guests were all Aflutter, & Danced off hand in hand.~Aster George Cooper

Well hello there!  I just can't believe how quickly the days are flying bye! Almost the end of September already! Oh my!  I am busy in my sewing room..already beginning the makings of Christmas! It will be here much sooner then we know!  My husband's sister (along with her five daughters') will be here this year from South Africa!  Our entire family will be together for Christmas, the first time in over fifteen years! We are very excited!  So..needless to say, I need to stay focused and get everyone's gifts made early! I am making raggedy ann dolls for the little ones, aprons for the married ones and charm necklaces for the single ones. So fun! I will visit you all as much as time will allow, and I will post a few pics of my progress too!  I hope you are all well and enjoying these lovely Autumn days~My favorite time of the year! Sweet Autumn blessings~Kathy

Hello sweet Kathy!
I was thinking about you earlier and noticed you just posted a blog! So funny. I took most of the summer off with blogging but I'm back now and so happy to catch up with everyone. It sounds like you are a busy lady with all the gifts you are making ~ how fun! I need to start thinking about Christmas also. It comes so fast. Wishing you a happy autumn.
Sending big hugs ~ Jenn xo

Sounds like a fun filled Fall for you - and how great your sister in law will be home. There's nothing better than family expecially at the holiday.

Blessings to you and your family Kathy.

Sounds wonderful. I bet Sugar will have everyone fussing over her.
The days are getting shorter, the mornings darker longer and there is a crispness in the air.
Enjoy the Autumn arrival...
