Life goes on~

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life. It goes on."

~Well, hello there!  Yes, life does go on!  And it goes by faster sometimes than others, doesn't it?  I feel like mine has been flying bye!  Over the past weeks we have celebrated Easter and Mothers' Day and Birthdays and Weddings and more!  Our daughter
just purchased her first home and we've been busy painting, sewing, decorating, and shopping (my favorite!).  Now, I don't want to get to heavy with this post or mushy, but as
a mom I'm experiencing a number of emotions as Joy moves into her own place.  Of course,
I am very proud of her and excited for her too,  but there's a tiny bit of saddness that her bed  won't be upstairs anymore.  I will miss her.  Now she's not moving eight hours away like our older daughter has done, along with our only two grandchildren I might add. (I'm not harboring bitterness over this.. well, not much anyway).  (:     I'm  reminded that life does go on...with lots of changes sometimes.. ~As some of you may remember, my youngest sister was diagnosed with a rare and deadly form of thyroid cancer last October.  She is going through full body chemo and fighting with bravery.  I hate cancer.  Connie (along with her husband and three children) is experiencing a lot of changes and life is hard and precious at the same time.  I would so appreciate your continued prayers for her and her family!
~My last post was entitled "Welcome Spring" still feels like spring here..we are having a lot of rain and cooler temps too. But, everything is that wonderful deep green and flowering, it's such a hopeful time, don't you think?  I haven't had the time to visit with all of you like I would like to, and I'm missing all of you! I will try to catch up as I can.  I so enjoy reading about your lives and I feel like I have met so many truly wonderful friends in this blog-land.
Thank you for your sweet emails asking about's nice to be missed! ~I must close and get a few things done before leaving for the office this goes on...
warm wishes for a blessed day~Kathy
